Sr. Wireless Communication System/Algorithm Engineer
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the development of algorithms and DSP architectures for OFDM wireless communication systems.
Develop algorithms, performance simulation and evaluation.
Design and code system models (Floating point and Fixed point) using C/ Matlab.
Implement algorithms on DSP processor.
Work closely with ASIC teams for defining ASIC implementation.
Successful candidates must have:
Excellent understanding of digital communication theory
Expertise C/Matlab.
Experience with 802.16, 802.11a, 802.15 or similar OFDM wireless systems standards.
Proficiency with modulation, carrier and timing loop, detection, sampling, filtering, error correction, wireless communication algorithms and fixed point design.
Experience implementing algorithms on DSP processors a plus
MSEE in DSP or digital communication systems, with 5+ years in design & implementation of digital modems
Experience in system bring-up, usage of lab equipment is a plus.
