Embedded Software Manager/Lead/Sr. Engineer
Responsibilities include:
Lead software development effort. Responsibilities includes feature definition, architecture specification, implementation, testing and technical customer support
Work closely with the VLSI team to define the optimal software/hardware partitioning
Interface with customers, partners and standards bodies
Successful candidate must have:
Strong experience with communications and streaming multimedia (Audio/Video/Data)
Experience with profiling code for performance optimization and doing hardware/software tradeoff's
Strong working knowledge of C or C++ in a real time embedded processor environment
In depth knowledge of processor and communication hardware
In depth knowledge of embedded RTOS and micro schedulers
Experience with writing Board Support Packages (BSP) for RTOS
Successful track record of product development from inception to production
Ability to debug complex software/hardware issues using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and probes
Experience in developing products for cell phones, PDAs, or MP3 products is highly desired
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
BS/MS in Computer Science
10+ years experience developing embedded software
