RFIC Systems Engineer/Chip Architect
Skills and Experience required for this position: Must have 10+ years experience in design and architect RFICs for wireless communications systems. Must have very strong RF systems understanding as well as strong communications systems background. Must also have very strong lab skills and be prepared to lead chip evaluation efforts in the lab. MSEE or equivalent required. PhD preferred Knowledge and experience with design tools such as Cadence, ADS and Matlab Low power battery based portable product design skills preferred High volume, low cost product design experience preferred Experience with basic lab equipment including oscilloscopes, s-parameters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc required Job Responsibilities: Responsible for system level design and specification of RFICs for wireless communications applications. Position involves top-level simulation, spec writing, design reviews, detailed design and simulation, verification, validation and laboratory test of new and existing products.
