MAC/Protocol Engineer

MAC system engineer: (looking for at least 2 new hires)

This position is involved with the development, analysis, and modeling of the 802.16e MAC and the larger 802.16e mobility network. The candidate should be qualified in product development from concept to deployment including architectural design, specification design, implementation, and validation. The candidate will work with ASIC and Software Design groups as well as Marketing and higher level management.

Experience in the following area is required:

Networking protocols and network architecture IP, Ethernet, TCP, VoIP protocols, etc.

QoS and scheduler design

Knowledge of Mobility networks GSM, CDMA, 3GPP

Simulation using commercial simulation tools

Software development C/C++

Primary Skills: Development, analysis, and modeling of the 802.16e MAC and the larger 802.16e mobility network.
